Over the span of 12 years in the classroom and working as a tutor, I’ve worked with countless students — including many with dyslexia — and trained extensively in Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood Bell, and Top 10 Tools. What I learned is that teachers don’t need more resources… they need the right ones, delivered in a clear, practical way.

How will I get the product after I purchase?
You will receive an email with a link to log into a portal. Once you log in, you'll see a tutorial and download instructions to access your product. This is a digital product, meaning you will not receive a physical product in the mail. Once you download the files, you can print and use them as directed.
What if I don't have any teacher training or don't know all the phonics and spelling rules?
The video training will give you everything you need and assume you know nothing about the topic.

You don't need to be trained in education to use these tools. The video workshops are short but teach you exactly what you need to know to feel confident in teaching these phonics skills and using the four tools. I also provide you with templates for each tool and a scope and sequence so you know the order to teach skills. You can be a new teacher or homeschooling parent and use these tools successfully.
What ages and grade levels are these for?
These are for beginning readers or struggling readers regardless of age. These tools focus on learning the 44 sounds of English, and are most often used in K-3 settings. I use these with students from pre-k through middle school and even high school when needed.
Are these digital or printable resources?
Most of the materials are meant to be printed, BUT they can be used in both virtual or in person lessons. The sound wall includes a virtual display option.
What will I need to purchase or have to use this kit?
You will need to have a computer to log into the portal, watch the videos, and access the printables. You'll also need a way to print the templates and materials. The sound wall looks better when printed in color, but you can use the digital version instead if you prefer.
What if I don't have time to add these tools to my lessons?
These strategies and tools are meant to replace current strategies. Most will not add any time to your routine. If your lessons do not already include some sort of phonemic awareness, spelling, and decoding, then you may need to tweak things to be sure you're addressing these areas within your allotted time.
